A woman is suing the driver she says was responsible for a rear-end crash that allegedly injured her and her daughter.
The women claims was driving with her daughter when the vehicle they were in was allegedly hit from behind by another driver. The women and her daughter were hurt in the crash and required medical care.
The women accuses the other driver of negligence and is asking to be paid more than $150,000 in damages to compensate for medical bills, loss of income and court costs.
There is a general rule for drivers behind another vehicle to maintain two full seconds safe distance from the car in front of them. If an individual doesn't follow this rule they take a very risky change that they will not be able to properly stop if they had to thus resulting in an accident.
The women who was hit from behind and was injured will most likely have a legitimate claim and will receive compensation for her medical bills, loss of income and court costs.
Of course an attorney and the courts will factor in the following:
- Police Report
- State Traffic Laws
- Damage To The Vehicle
- Impact Of The Injuries Sustained.
